Hours of work: Minimum 35hrs per week. 5 days over a 7 day shift

Salary: Hourly rate dependent on experience plus weekend premium

Clayton Park Bakery are a proud supplier of match day food to a number of football clubs in the region such as Preston North End, Accrington Stanley and Blackburn Rovers as well as Premier League club Liverpool, ensuring all match day fans the opportunity to sample our amazing products. As members of the James Hall & Co. family, we also supply our products to over 600 SPAR stores across the north of England.

Work within a multi skilled team of bakers and confectioners to manufacture our range of confectionary products.
What You Can Expect to Be Doing
- Mixing of bread dough – traditional and sour dough, and pastry production
- Working with mixers and depositors
- Set up and run machinery used for the manufacture of bakery products to set specifications
- Completing documents and records accurately
- Manufacture safe, quality food by following all relevant Health, Safety, Environment and Food Safety standards and working practices
- General housekeeping, and maintaining the cleanliness of the production areas
- Moving equipment such as trolleys and racks safely
- Adheres to site processes and procedures to ensure safe and efficient operation to produce and deliver unbeatable quality products

A Few Things about You
- To be a positive and organised individual
- 1 -2 year’s experience of working within a similar role is desirable, but training can be given
- Level 2 in food safety and hygiene would be preferable, but training can be given
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills
- To be enthusiastic, committed and self-motivated
- Have a positive outlook and enjoy working as part of a team, leading by example
- Good written and verbal skills with a good level of numeracy
- Ability to work in a safe manner and consider the safety of others
- Willing to work a flexible shift pattern which include weekends and Bank Holidays
