Contract Type: Permanent
Hours of work: 36hrs per week, (5 out of 7 days including weekends)
Shift Times: 6:00am β 2:00pm (Overtime may be needed at busier periods)
Location: Clayton Park Bakery, Hunstead Industrial Estate, Accrington, BB5
Salary: Competitive Hourly rate

Clayton Park Bakery are a proud supplier of match day food to a number of football clubs in the region such as Preston North End, Accrington Stanley and Blackburn Rovers as well as Premier League clubs Everton and Liverpool ensuring all match day fans the opportunity to sample our amazing products. As members of the James Hall & Co. family, we also supply our products to over 500 SPAR stores across the north of England.

About the Role
To work within a multi skilled team of bakery assistants to manufacture our range of bread and confectionary products to produce quality bakery items and maintain the high level of customer satisfaction currently being achieved.
Responsibilities
- Production, baking and packing various bakery products
- Working across multiple production lines
- Set up and run machinery used for the manufacture of bakery products to set specifications
- Completing of documents and records accurately
- Manufacture safe, quality food by following all relevant Health, Safety, Environment and Food Safety standards and working practices
- General housekeeping, and maintaining the cleanliness of the production areas
- Moving equipment such as trolleys and racks safely
- Adheres to site processes and procedures to ensure safe and efficient operation to produce and deliver unbeatable quality products

- To be a positive and organised individual
- Experience of working within a similar role is desirable
- Level 2 in food safety and hygiene would be preferable, but training can be given
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills
- To be enthusiastic, committed and self-motivated
- Have a positive outlook and enjoy working as part of a team, leading by example
- Good written and verbal skills with a good level of numeracy
- Ability to work in a safe manner and consider the safety of others
- Willing to work a flexible shift pattern which include weekends and Bank Holidays
