Clayton Park Bakery is a brand associated with quality. From our fresh cakes and sandwiches to our award-winning pies and sausage rolls, we can guarantee our customers the best tasting products made by our dedicated and passionate team of expert bakers.

We are a proud supplier of match day food to a number of football clubs in the region such as Accrington Stanley and Blackburn Rovers, as well as Premier League clubs Everton and Liverpool. We also supply to over 300 customers through our van sales and as members of the James Hall & Co. family, our products are in over 400 SPAR stores across the north of England.

We rely on our drivers to deliver our products to our loyal and valued customers. Our goods need to be delivered early to guarantee we are providing the freshest quality products possible. Because of this, we require our drivers to start at 3.00am and finish around 11.00am/12.00pm.

Full training will be given and would suit someone who enjoys the freedom to be out on their own.

Here is What You Can Expect to be Doing:

  • Collecting goods from the depot, ensuring that goods are handled appropriately, limiting the risk of damage and distributing goods to the correct location as per delivery schedule in a timely manner.
  • Driving any Company vehicle as per the Company policy and according to current legislation.
  • Effectively loading goods onto the vehicle according to pre-determined schedule.
  • Delivering products to customers in good condition.
  • Bringing all returns and completed documentation back to the depot at the end of each journey, submitting documentation according to Company procedure.

A Few Things About You:

  • You’ll need a full UK driver’s licence.
  • Experience driving 7.5 tonne is preferred.
  • Hold a CPC qualification.
  • Have excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
  • Be enthusiastic, committed and self-motivated.
  • Ability to work in a safe manner and consider the safety of others.
  • Trustworthy, reliable and able to work on own initiative and to work to pre-determined schedule with little supervision.
