About the Role
As a Production Operative, you’ll be involved in the day-to-day packing and assembly of finished products, including both frozen and chilled goods. You’ll work with a variety of machinery and follow hygiene and safety procedures to keep production running smoothly.
Here’s What You Can Expect to be Doing
- Packing and assembling finished products in trays and boxes.
- Boxing up, stacking, and palletising products ready for despatch.
- Operating different packing machinery such as sealers and metal detectors (training provided).
- Working safely and efficiently in a chilled environment.
- Performing area and equipment clean-downs during changeovers and at the end of each shift.
- Following all company hygiene rules and PPE standards.
- Ensuring food safety and hygiene meet the required industry standards.
- Completing and signing off daily and weekly hygiene schedules.
- Carrying out pre-start checks and complying with health and safety requirements.
- Managing heavy workloads in a high-volume food production environment.

Previous experience in food manufacturing or production is an advantage, but full training will be provided.
