Hours of work: 25 hours per week Monday to Friday (we can be flexible)

About the Role

We are looking for a talented and creative Graphic Designer to join our team on a 12-month maternity cover contract.

This is an exciting opportunity for an experienced designer who thrives in a fast-paced environment and enjoys working on a wide variety of projects.

The successful candidate will play a key role in producing high-quality creative assets that support our marketing, communications, events, retail, and business objectives.

You will be responsible for delivering engaging and visually impactful designs across both print and digital channels while ensuring all work is completed to brand guidelines and often within tight deadlines.

  • Here’s What You Can Expect to be Doing
  • Design and produce a wide range of creative materials including brochures, leaflets, posters, point-of-sale materials, press ads, event collateral, social media content and digital assets.
  • Work closely with internal stakeholders to understand project requirements and deliver creative solutions that meet business objectives.
  • Manage multiple design projects simultaneously, prioritising workload effectively to meet deadlines.
  • Ensure all creative output is consistent with brand guidelines and maintains high standards of quality.
  • Prepare artwork for print and digital production.
  • Support the marketing team with campaign development and execution.
  • Create and adapt artwork for a variety of formats and channels.
  • Liaise with external suppliers, printers and agencies when required.

You'll be comfortable responding to changing priorities, confident managing a varied workload and capable of delivering outstanding design work under pressure.

Excellent working knowledge of Adobe Creative Suite, particularly

  • Illustrator
  • Photoshop
  • Proven experience in a Graphic Designer role.
  • Strong creative, layout and typography skills.
  • Experience working to tight deadlines in a busy and fast-paced environment.
  • Ability to manage multiple projects and priorities simultaneously.
  • Strong attention to detail and commitment to producing high-quality work.
  • Good communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.

Desirable

  • Experience within retail, wholesale, marketing or commercial environments.
  • Understanding of print production processes.
  • Experience creating content for social media and digital marketing campaigns.
