Key Responsibilities
- Lead and develop the civils commercial team.
- Oversee commercial delivery on multiple projects from procurement to final account, including NEC and other contract administration, negotiations and claims management.
- Drive cost control, risk management and profitability.
- Establish robust commercial processes and reporting structures.
- Build strong relationships with clients, supply chain partners and internal stakeholders.
- Mentor and up‑skill commercial staff.
What We’re Looking For
- Proven experience as a Commercial Manager or Senior Commercial Lead within civils/infrastructure contracting.
- Strong background in contract administration (NEC experience preferred).
- Track record in managing commercial teams and workflows across civils/infrastructure projects.
- Excellent negotiation, communication and stakeholder management skills.
- A proactive, commercially aware mindset with the ability to influence outcomes.
- Relevant commercial qualifications (e.g., RICS/QS degree).
