The successful candidate will be responsible for leading and managing mechanical design projects, with a focus on UK Engineering Design – MEP.\\n\\nResponsibilities\\n\\n * Lead and manage mechanical design projects, ensuring adherence to UK Engineering Design – MEP standards and regulations.\\n\\n * Develop and review mechanical designs, including HVAC, plumbing, and fire protection systems.\\n\\n * Collaborate with internal teams and external stakeholders to ensure project success and client satisfaction.\\n\\n * Provide technical expertise and mentorship to junior engineers and design staff.\\n\\n * Conduct regular site visits to assess project progress and resolve any technical issues that may arise.\\n\\n * Stay updated with industry trends and advancements in mechanical design to consistently improve project outcomes.\\n\\nQualifications\\n\\n * Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering or related field; advanced degree preferred.\\n\\n * Proven experience in UK Engineering Design – MEP, with a focus on mechanical design.\\n\\n * Professional Engineer (PE) license is highly desirable.\\n\\n * Strong proficiency in relevant design software and tools, such as AutoCAD, Revit, and HVAC software.\\n\\n * Excellent communication and leadership skills, with a track record of successfully managing engineering projects.\\n\\nDay-to-day\\n\\nAs a Principal Mechanical Engineer, your day-to-day activities will involve leading and managing mechanical design projects, collaborating with cross-functional teams, conducting site visits, providing technical guidance, and staying updated with industry advancements.
