You’ll play a crucial part in delivering a high-profile and ‘feel good’ multi-million pound project in Glasgow. They are looking for a talented individual who can promote a collaborative, can-do, continual improvement culture in the company to assist in delivering the company’s strategic goals and exceeding the clients’ expectations.
Key Responsibilities
- Project Delivery & Management
- Manage projects through all RIBA stages, monitoring programme, cost, and quality.
- Prepare technical, BIM, and design documentation appropriate to each stage.
- Coordinate with clients, consultants, contractors, and statutory bodies.
- Act as Lead Consultant / Design Team Leader when required.
- Manage project programme, resources, fees, and profitability using project management software.
- Administer contracts, prepare tender submissions, reports, and recommendations.
- Ensure projects meet client requirements, regulatory standards, and quality procedures.
- Develop concept designs from briefs and produce presentation material.
- Prepare detailed design drawings, specifications, schedules, and BIM models.
- Source technical information and ensure buildability and compliance.
- Conduct measured surveys, feasibility reports, cost/benefit analysis, and risk assessments.
- Act as a day-to-day client contact, providing advice and responding to enquiries.
- Build and maintain strong client and stakeholder relationships.
- Coordinate project teams and mentor junior colleagues.
- Contribute to a collaborative and continuous improvement culture.
- Ensure compliance with UK Building Regulations, Building Safety Act 2022, and CDM Regulations 2015.
- Fulfil duties of Designer / Principal Designer (where applicable).
- Maintain ARB and RIBA CPD requirements and follow QA and health & safety procedures.
