Are you an experienced Senior Planner looking to work on complex, high-value infrastructure projects within the defence and nuclear sectors? You will play a key role in planning and programme management across a range of major civil infrastructure projects, supporting both projects in development and those currently in delivery.

- Major civil engineering and infrastructure works
- High voltage and utilities infrastructure
- Complex, secure operational environments
- Multi‑disciplinary projects across defence and nuclear sectors
Key Responsibilities
- Develop, manage, and maintain detailed project programmes
- Provide planning support across the full project lifecycle (pre‑construction through to delivery)
- Work closely with project teams to ensure accurate forecasting and reporting
- Monitor progress, identify risks, and implement mitigation strategies
- Produce regular programme updates and reports for internal and client stakeholders
- Support tender planning and programme development for bids
- Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to ensure alignment across projects
- Contribute to continuous improvement of planning processes and tools
About You
- Proven experience as a Planner within civil engineering or infrastructure projects
- Strong proficiency in Primavera P6 is highly desirable
- Experience working in regulated environments (defence, nuclear, rail, or utilities) is advantageous
- Strong understanding of project controls and programme management principles
- Excellent analytical and problem‑solving skills
- Strong communication skills with the ability to engage stakeholders at all levels
Requirements
- Relevant degree or equivalent experience in engineering, construction, or project controls
- Demonstrable experience in a planning role on complex infrastructure projects
- Ability to obtain Security Clearance (SC)
- Must be a British National due to the nature of the projects
