We are working with a busy construction recruitment client delivering a diverse range of projects across Scotland, from ceilings and partitions to structural works and finishes. With a strong pipeline of ongoing work, this is an excellent opportunity to join a supportive, fast-paced team.

Key Responsibilities

  • Full commercial management of projects ranging from £10k–£3m
  • Applications for payment, take-offs, and general cost management
  • Site visits to monitor progress and ensure high-quality delivery
  • Working closely with senior colleagues to manage project budgets and schedules
  • Building strong relationships with clients, subcontractors, and internal teams
  • Supporting team efficiency while working autonomously

Project Scope

  • Structural works, joinery, ceilings, partitions, and finishes
  • Typical projects include ceilings and partitions across both refurbishment and new-build sectors
  • Regular site visits required, with office-based work alongside senior colleagues

About You

  • Project QS to Senior level with demonstrable experience
  • Confident, proactive, and able to work independently
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills
  • Comfortable managing multiple projects simultaneously

Requirements

  • Proven experience in project quantity surveying within a main contractor or subcontractor environment
  • Knowledge of commercial management processes, applications for payment, and take-offs
  • Ability to work 5 days per week in the office, with regular travel to sites
