A leading international engineering and design consultancy is seeking an Associate Electrical Engineer to join its established Building Services team in either Glasgow or Edinburgh office. This is an excellent opportunity for an experienced Electrical Building Services professional looking to take a leadership role within a collaborative, forward thinking environment delivering high profile projects across a diverse range of sectors.

The Role

As an Associate Electrical Engineer, you will play a key role in leading project delivery, managing client relationships, and supporting the growth and development of the Electrical engineering team. You will work on complex and technically challenging projects across sectors including commercial, healthcare, education, defence, transportation, and public infrastructure.

Key Responsibilities

  • Lead the Electrical design and delivery of building services projects
  • Manage and mentor engineers and technicians within the team
  • Build and maintain strong client relationships
  • Support business development activities and project bidding
  • Ensure projects are delivered to quality, programme, and budget expectations
  • Collaborate closely with multidisciplinary design teams across the UK

Requirements

  • Degree qualified in Electrical Engineering or Building Services Engineering
  • Significant experience within a Building Services consultancy environment
  • Strong technical knowledge of electrical building systems and design standards
  • Experience leading projects and coordinating multidisciplinary teams
  • Chartered status (or working towards) preferred
  • Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills
