About the Company

We are supporting a well‑established and growing engineering consultancy with a team of professionals, delivering residential projects across Scotland. Following a combination of new project wins and recent team changes, we are looking to strengthen our structural team with an additional Structural Engineer.

The Role

This is an excellent opportunity for a Structural Engineer with between 2 and 10 years' experience to join a collaborative and supportive team environment. You will play a key role in the design and delivery of residential developments, working closely with engineers, technicians, and external stakeholders across all project stages.

Key Responsibilities

  • Structural design and analysis for residential developments
  • Preparation of calculations, reports, and technical specifications
  • Coordination with technicians to produce drawings and models
  • Liaising with clients, architects, and contractors
  • Supporting projects from concept through to completion
  • Ensuring compliance with relevant UK standards and regulations

Requirements

  • 2-10 years' experience in structural engineering
  • Experience working on residential projects preferred
  • Degree in Civil or Structural Engineering
  • Proficiency in structural design software
  • Strong communication and problem‑solving skills
  • Ability to work both independently and as part of a team
