About the Company
We are supporting a well‑established and growing engineering consultancy with a team of professionals, delivering residential projects across Scotland. Following a combination of new project wins and recent team changes, we are looking to strengthen our structural team with an additional Structural Engineer.
The Role
This is an excellent opportunity for a Structural Engineer with between 2 and 10 years' experience to join a collaborative and supportive team environment. You will play a key role in the design and delivery of residential developments, working closely with engineers, technicians, and external stakeholders across all project stages.
Key Responsibilities
- Structural design and analysis for residential developments
- Preparation of calculations, reports, and technical specifications
- Coordination with technicians to produce drawings and models
- Liaising with clients, architects, and contractors
- Supporting projects from concept through to completion
- Ensuring compliance with relevant UK standards and regulations
Requirements
- 2-10 years' experience in structural engineering
- Experience working on residential projects preferred
- Degree in Civil or Structural Engineering
- Proficiency in structural design software
- Strong communication and problem‑solving skills
- Ability to work both independently and as part of a team
