Our client, a well-established and privately owned construction contractor, is seeking an experienced Site Manager to join its growing team in Tayside. The role reports to senior management and you will take full responsibility for the day-to-day management of site operations, focusing on delivering projects safely, efficiently, on budget, and to a high standard of quality.
Key Responsibilities
- Oversee daily site operations and provide clear direction to site teams
- Ensure full compliance with health and safety regulations
- Lead, motivate, and develop site staff
- Coordinate all site personnel including subcontractors and agency staff
- Deliver programmes in line with drawings, specifications, and project timelines
- Monitor progress and report to senior management
- Maintain site records including labour, materials, and H&S documentation
- Carry out inspections and ensure quality standards are met
- Identify opportunities to improve efficiency and project margin
- Manage materials, plant, and labour to meet programme demands
Requirements
- Proven experience as a Site Manager delivering multi-disciplinary construction projects
- Strong leadership and organisational skills
- Good knowledge of construction processes and health and safety regulations
Qualifications
- Valid SMSTS
- CSCS Card
- First Aid Certification
- Full UK Driving Licence
