Title: Payroll AssistantLocation: BasildonSalary: £29,000   JGA are delighted to be working with a successful organisation looking to add a Payroll Administrator to its team!  Responsibilities:

• Process payroll for 500+ staff on a weekly and monthly basis.
• Manage statutory payments (SSP, SMP, SAP, SPP) and deductions
• Manual calculations. 
• Handle payroll changes, joiners, and leavers
• Reconcile payroll accounts and process external payments
• Ensure compliance and submit HMRC returns
• Support year-end processes and auto-enrolment pensions

Skills & Experience:

• 3+ years of payroll experience
• Strong numerical, analytical, and Excel skills
• High attention to detail and accuracy
• Excellent communication and problem-solving abilities
• Knowledge of payroll compliance and legislation
