This is an excellent opportunity for a payroll professional who wants to progress beyond traditional payroll processing and broaden their experience within a growing technology-led business. You’ll initially manage a portfolio of around 50–60 client payrolls per month, varying in size and complexity, with this expected to grow over time. Alongside payroll delivery, you’ll become a key point of contact for clients and partners, support workplace pension services and contribute to improving processes and systems. This role would suit someone ambitious, confident and eager to take ownership within a forward-thinking payroll environment.
Key Responsibilities
- Manage and process a portfolio of client payrolls from start to finish, ensuring accuracy and compliance.
- Handle multiple payrolls with varying complexity while meeting strict deadlines.
- Manage statutory payments, HMRC requirements, payroll legislation and year-end processes.
- Resolve payroll queries and act as a trusted contact for clients and partners.
