Key Responsibilities
- Process payroll accurately and within agreed deadlines.
- Manage new starters, leavers, salary changes, deductions and statutory payments.
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date payroll records.
- Respond to and resolve payroll queries from clients.
- Prepare payroll reports and supporting information.
- Ensure compliance with UK payroll legislation and statutory requirements.
- Liaise with clients, HMRC and pension providers to resolve queries and issues.
- Maintain a high standard of customer service and professionalism.
About You
- Previous experience in a payroll position.
- Good knowledge of UK payroll processes and legislation.
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to accuracy.
- Confident using payroll systems and Microsoft Excel.
- Excellent communication and problem-solving skills.
- Able to handle confidential information with discretion.
- Self-motivated and able to work independently while contributing effectively to a small team.
