This is a senior leadership position responsible for overseeing a high-volume Accounts Payable function across multiple business units. Based at the group's head office, you will lead the AP team, ensure efficient end-to-end processes, and maintain strong internal and external relationships.

Key Responsibilities

  • Lead, manage, and develop the Accounts Payable team, including performance management and ongoing training
  • Oversee the full AP cycle, ensuring accurate invoice processing and timely supplier payments
  • Drive continuous improvement across procure-to-pay processes, increasing efficiency and reducing manual intervention
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with suppliers, internal stakeholders, and system providers
  • Monitor and report on key metrics such as KPIs, cash flow forecasting, and DPO
  • Collaborate with Finance, Procurement, Operations, Commercial, and IT teams to optimise processes
  • Support month-end close activities, ensuring accuracy and adherence to financial controls
  • Lead or contribute to projects focused on process improvement and system enhancements

Candidate Profile

  • Proven experience leading an Accounts Payable function or similar finance team
  • Strong leadership skills with the ability to coach and develop teams
  • Excellent communication and stakeholder management abilities
