Payroll Manager Salary: £45,000 Location: Bootle, Liverpool - Fully Onsite Structure: Standalone / Sole Payroll Role Payroll: c.300 employees across multiple sites The Role A newly created opportunity for an experienced Payroll Manager to take full ownership of a complex UK payroll while improving and automating the payroll function. You’ll be the business’s dedicated payroll expert, reporting directly to the Finance Director and working closely with HR across multiple sites. Key Responsibilities Own the end-to-end monthly payroll for c.300 employees. Process varied pay including commission, bonuses, overtime, shift premiums, pensions, benefits and statutory payments. Manage RTI submissions, PAYE/NIC, P11Ds, P60s and auto-enrolment. Complete payroll reconciliations, journals and management reporting. Improve and automate payroll processes, moving from manual input towards data uploads and integrations. Develop controls, validation checks, payroll calendars and documented procedures.
