3 x Asset Finance BDM's - Soft Asset Vendor South East England £45,000 - £60,000 basic plus Car and excellent Commission. Circa £120,000-£180,000 is achievable and is uncapped.
James George Recruitment are working exclusively with a very successful Asset Finance Funder in their search for 3 additional Soft Asset Business Development Managers. Whilst you will inherit some Vendor relationships, it's still important that you have the hunger and drive to hunt for new Reseller contacts too. These are client development and sales focused roles that will be exciting and challenging where your success is well within your own control. You'll be working for a Funder with the security of a decent Basic salary but where the commissions will compete with those available at successful Brokerages.
Key Responsibilities:- Develop existing reseller, distributor, and manufacturer partnerships.
- Meet potential partners to identify their requirements.
- Research and build relationships with new/dormant partners and sales prospects.
- Set up meetings between decision makers.
- Plan approaches and pitches by working with Management team to develop presentations and proposals that meet the partner's needs, concerns, and objectives.
- Handle objections by clarifying, emphasising agreements, and working through differences to a positive conclusion.
- Use a variety of styles to persuade or negotiate appropriately.
- Achieve set targets and this will be predominantly achieved by bringing on new business.
- Analyse dealer performance and increase dealer turnover.
- Research and canvas for new dealers.
- The ideal candidates will have at least 2+ years in a leasing sales role, ideally selling to Vendors, offering finance for Soft assets.
- Strong level of negotiating and solution selling skills.
- Ability to plan and prioritise time to ensure commitments are met in agreed timescales.
- Ability to influence multiple stakeholders.
