Duties

  • Fabricate bespoke wooden components according to detailed drawings and specifications
  • Assemble various parts using hand tools, power tools, and joinery techniques
  • Operate and maintain woodworking machinery safely and efficiently
  • Perform precise cutting, sanding, finishing, and fitting of timber elements
  • Assist in the installation of joinery products on-site when required
  • Ensure all work meets quality standards and adheres to health and safety regulations
  • Collaborate with team members to complete projects within deadlines
  • Maintain a clean and organised workspace, ensuring tools are properly stored after use

Qualifications

  • Proven experience in fabrication, assembly, or carpentry, preferably within a joinery or construction environment
  • Proficiency with hand tools such as chisels, saws, planes, and measuring devices
  • Experience operating power tools including drills, routers, sanders, and saws
  • Knowledge of joinery techniques such as dovetailing, mortising, and fitting joints
