Barnes Roffe Recruitment are working with a client based in Essex who are now looking to hire at least 2 Sales Executives/Account Managers due to continued growth. The client is a market leading supplier of PPE and site consumables to the construction and housebuilding industries.

You will be working closely with the National Sales Manager in their Business Development Office and responsibilities will include but may not be limited to:

  • Outbound calls to existing customers (not cold-calling!)
  • Planning and logging your daily calls
  • Quoting and costing potential orders
  • Following up on prospects
  • Producing KPI reports
  • Producing lead generation
  • Ensuring smooth and effective transitions of customers with the other departments

Monday to Friday office hours.

It would be preferred if you possess:

  • Some previous sales experience
  • Previous experience within the construction/wholesale industry would be a benefit

Skills required:

  • You must be outgoing and confident on the phone
  • You must have excellent communication skills
  • You must be organised, confident and driven
  • A can-do attitude
  • Be able to use IT systems such as Outlook, Excel and Word
  • Provide a high level of customer service
