James George Recruitment has partnered with a Tier 1 Asset Finance House that is looking to add an add a Business Development Manager with a specialism in the Renewables Energy Finance sector.
Our Client has already won and established successful programmes with some very high profile clients. Whilst you will inherit some Vendor relationships, its still important that you have the hunger and drive to hunt for new Reseller contacts too. This is a client development and sales focused role that will be exciting and challenging where your success will be within your own control.
Key Responsibilities will include:
-Identify new and develop existing reseller, distributor, and manufacturer partnerships.
-Warm call non-productive prospects to increase market penetration.
-Meet potential partners/ Renewable energy installers to arrange finance for your their customers when theyre acquiring the equipment.
-Identify potential partners and the decision makers within introducers.
-Research and build relationships with new/dormant partners and sales prospects, setting up meetings with decision makers.
-Plan approaches and pitches by working with Management team to develop presentations and proposals that meet the partners needs, concerns, and objectives.
-Handle objections by clarifying, emphasising agreements, and working through differences to a positive conclusion.
-Use a variety of styles to persuade or negotiate appropriately.
-Achieve set targets and this will be predominantly achieved by bringing on new business.
-Analyse dealer performance and increase dealer turnover
-Research and canvas for new dealers.
Key skills required:
-The ideal candidate will have at least 2+ years Business Development experience gained within Renewables finance.
-Strong level of negotiating and solution selling skills
-Ability to plan and prioritise time to ensure commitments are met in agreed timescales.
-Ability to influence multiple stakeholders.
