Due to continued growth, our client is now looking for a Key Account Manager to join their prestigious offices in North Essex. As a Key Account Manager, you will be responsible for managing and growing a portfolio of established customer accounts while identifying opportunities to increase revenue and strengthen long-term partnerships. You will work closely with customers to understand their operational needs, ensuring they receive exceptional service, competitive solutions, and ongoing support.
Key Responsibilities- Manage and develop existing key customer accounts
- Build strong, long-lasting client relationships
- Identify upselling and cross-selling opportunities across PPE and site consumable products
- Deliver excellent customer service and account support
- Prepare quotations, negotiate pricing, and manage customer expectations
- Work collaboratively with internal teams including procurement, operations, and customer service
- Monitor market trends and competitor activity
- Achieve sales targets and contribute to overall business growth
The successful candidate will be commercially aware, customer-focused, and highly organised with a proven ability to manage accounts and build relationships.
Requirements- Previous experience in account management, sales, or business development
- Strong communication and relationship-building skills
- Experience within PPE, construction supplies, industrial products, or site consumables would be highly advantageous
- Confident negotiating and managing customer accounts
- Self-motivated with a proactive approach
- Excellent organisational and time management skills
- Full UK driving licence preferred
