Bench Joiner/Cabinet Maker in Newtown

Job DescriptionWe are looking for a full time Bench joiner/cabinet maker to join our team. The applicant MUST have experience in a joinery workshop and know how to use standard wood working machinery and hand tools. The applicant will be making high end furniture from our workshops, fitting the project will be required with a team. As the bench joiner you will be making kitchens, wardrobes, study and media units from our workshops in Leatherhead.\ NResponsibilities :\ NMaking furniture for clients around Surrey and London (mainly)\ NInterpret design drawingsand specifications to understand the project requirements\ NOperate a variety of woodworking machinery\ NHave own hand tools
Accurately cut and measure components and have a keen eye for details\ NEnsure all projects meet quality standards and specifications\ NCollaborate with other team members, including project managers to ensure projects finish on time and to clients satisfactions\ NMaintain a safe and organised work environment, adhering to health and safety regulations.\ NRequirements: \ NExperience as a bench joiner or similar role, with a portfolio of work\ NProficiency on woodworking techniques and familiarity with wood working machinery and hand tools\ NAbility to read and interpret drawings\ NStrong attention to detail, with commitment to producing high quality work\ NExcellent time management\ NGood communication and teamwork\ NKnowledge of health and safety regulations\ NIdeally a current clean UK driving licence (not essential)\ NBenefits include:\ N28 days holiday (including Bank Holidays)\ NPension
