Our client, a leading US Law Firm is seeking a Trainee Finance Assistant to join them on a full-time, apprenticeship basis for a period of 2 years. This is an exceptional opportunity for a Trainee Finance Assistant to secure their first role in the industry, where you will be joining a leading international Law Firm, working as part of a knowledgeable Finance and Accounts team whilst gaining hands-on training in the role and being supported towards your AAT studies at the same time. The ideal candidate will be looking to get their foot in the door of a Finance / Accounts role and be comfortable balancing work alongside studies over the course of the two years. This is a rare opportunity to join a world-renowned firm who are leaders within their field, working as part of a Finance department who will provide full training whilst giving you the opportunity to kickstart your career in this field.
Key Responsibilities:
- Post invoices onto internal system in a timely and accurate manner
- Maintain internal logs and databases for staff expenses
- Provide a high level of day-to-day support to the Accounts team, assisting with invoice queries, processing backlogs and general administrative support when required
- Reconcile statements and liaise with vendors and third parties with any questions or queries when necessary
- Support on reporting for budgets, cashflow and forecasting
