Our client, a leading and well-established business in their field is seeking a Warehouse Operations Manager to join them on a full-time, permanent basis in a pivotal role within the business. Due to an exciting time within the business our client is looking to add a Warehouse Operations Manager to their team, where you will be working closely with the senior leadership team to ensure the smooth-running and oversight of the firm’s warehouse facility. The ideal candidate will need to be local to the Tunbridge Wells office, with previous warehouse management experience and ideally oversight of a small team. A valid forklift license is also required.
Key Responsibilities:
- Manage day-to-day warehouse activities including goods-in, storage, picking, packing and dispatch
- Ensure timely shipment of goods in order to meet customer expectations
- Maintain accurate stock levels
- Investigate and resolve inventory discrepancies
- Ensure compliance with all Health and Safety regulations and requirements
- Operate forklifts safely and efficiently
- Supervise a small team or warehouse staff, ensuring all tasks are completed efficiently and safely
- Lead and maintain ISO accreditation processes
Key Experience:
- Previous experience as a Warehouse Manager / Supervisor
- Forklift license holder
- Good understanding of health and safety legislation
- Strong communicator, confident working with a team whilst acting as the first point of contact for any questions or queries
- Understanding of ISO would be desirable
