Our client, a leading Law Firm is seeking a Legal Billing Assistant to join their London‑based team at an exciting time of growth.
Due to firm expansion our client is looking for a Legal Billing Assistant to join them where you will be required to provide support to the team, also supporting Partners with the highest levels of billings and collections support.
The ideal candidate will have a minimum of 2 years revenue / billing experience in a Law firm, confident working with colleagues and clients of all levels with a good understanding of billing practices and processes.
Key Responsibilities
- Prepare bills in accordance with client guidelines
- Ensure all client invoices are prepared and finalized
- Make sure all work is completed in accordance with Solicitors Accounts Rules requirements and the firms guidelines
- Prepare monthly and transactional reports for billing attorney review
- Process transfers, write‑offs and adjustments
- Be the first point of contact for clients with any billing‑related queries
- Follow up with clients, Partners and Associates on outstanding invoices
- Ensure all invoices and statements are sent to clients in a timely manner
Key Experience
- Minimum of 2 years experience in a Legal Billing / Revenue role
- Knowledge of Solicitors Accounts Rules
- Good understanding of standard billing practices
- Excellent written and verbal communication
- High level of accuracy and attention to detail at all times
- Aderant experience desirable although not essential
- Confidence working both independently and as part of a team
