Our client, a leading business in the Financial services industry is seeking a Junior Risk Officer to join their team on a full-time, permanent basis. Due to an exciting period of growth our client is looking to add a Junior Risk Officer to their team, where you will be working closely with internal teams within the business, ensuring all criteria is met from potential new clients whilst ensuring risks are mitigated in the onboarding process.

The ideal candidate will have a minimum of 1 years’ office-based experience, and be an analytical individual who works with a high level of accuracy and attention to detail at all times, capable of meeting deadlines whilst ensuring organizational standards are maintained.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Undertake a review of risk and fraud alerts, raising any preidentified risks
  • Updating and maintaining internal systems and databases with relevant information
  • Liaise with departments within the business along with third parties outside of the organization
  • Operate within all procedures and standards within the business
  • Update management with any early risks that have been notified
  • Proactively look into any emerging risks that may be identified
  • Work with a high level of accuracy and attention to detail at all times
Key Experience:
  • Minimum of 1 years’ experience in an office-based role where accuracy and attention to detail are maintained and required at all times
  • Understanding of Financial Services / Insurance / Fraud / AML would be advantageous
  • Confident working with colleagues and clients of all levels
  • Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal
  • Good work ethic, capable of working both independently and as part of the wider team
