Our client, a leading Financial Services institution is seeking a Compliance Officer on a full-time, contract basis. This role is offered on an initial 6-month contract basis. This is an exciting time to join a thriving organization who are seeking a Compliance professional with strong Quality Assurance and regulatory policy expertise to join the Risk and Compliance function in the firm. The successful candidate will play a pivotal role in delivering high-quality monitoring reviews, interpreting regulatory frameworks and overseeing general compliance.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Monitor, interpret and communicate regulatory developments, publications and communications
  • Conduct detailed QA assessments to ensure all internal policies are adhered to, whilst meeting all regulatory expectations
  • Review all regulatory publications / communications
  • Perform administrative duties within the Compliance function of the firm
  • Contribute to day-to-day governance activities and project work
  • Assist in ensuring all internal policies and governance is maintained and adhered to

Key Experience:

  • Strong experience in compliance monitoring, quality assurance or advisory, ideally within a regulated environment
  • Strong understanding of PRA / FCA regulations and compliance risk
  • Ability to work both independently and as part of the wider team
  • Excellent communicator, confident liaising with colleagues and clients of all levels
  • Previous experience in banking or financial institution is a must
