Our client, a leading Financial Services institution is seeking a Compliance Officer on a full-time, contract basis. This role is offered on an initial 6-month contract basis. This is an exciting time to join a thriving organization who are seeking a Compliance professional with strong Quality Assurance and regulatory policy expertise to join the Risk and Compliance function in the firm. The successful candidate will play a pivotal role in delivering high-quality monitoring reviews, interpreting regulatory frameworks and overseeing general compliance.
Key Responsibilities
- Monitor, interpret and communicate regulatory developments, publications and communications
- Conduct detailed QA assessments to ensure all internal policies are adhered to, whilst meeting all regulatory expectations
- Review all regulatory publications / communications
- Perform administrative duties within the Compliance function of the firm
- Contribute to day-to-day governance activities and project work
- Assist in ensuring all internal policies and governance is maintained and adhered to
Key Experience
- Strong experience in compliance monitoring, quality assurance or advisory, ideally within a regulated environment
- Strong understanding of PRA / FCA regulations and compliance risk
- Ability to work both independently and as part of the wider team
- Excellent communicator, confident liaising with colleagues and clients of all levels
- Previous experience in banking or financial institution is a must
