Our client, a leading business in the IT Sector is seeking a strong 1st Line Engineer to join them on a full-time, permanent basis.

Due to a busy period and business growth our client is looking for a 1st Line Engineer to join their experienced team.

The ideal candidate will have a minimum of 1 years' commercial experience in a 1st Line role where you have provided technical support to a range of clients, confident liaising with colleagues, clients and third parties of all levels.

Due to the nature of the role candidates will be required to have access to their own vehicle.

Key Responsibilities

  • Act as the first point of contact for clients with technical queries
  • Writing and updating user and system documentation
  • Manage technical tickets while escalating to senior Engineers when necessary
  • Work on day-to-day support tasks and ad-hoc project work
  • Provide a consistent and high-level of communication and customer service to clients both over the phone and via email

Key Experience

  • Basic networking, including TCP/IP, DNS
  • Server administration, including User Accounts Admissions and Permissions
  • Understanding of MS 365
  • Understanding of MS Share Point
  • Good understanding of Windows Server
  • Excellent communication skills, confident working with colleagues and clients of all levels
  • Able to work both independently and as part of the wider team
  • High-level of customer service, ensuring clients are managed effectively whilst prioritizing tasks
