The IT & Systems Engineer will be responsible for providing support for all digital systems within the Maritime Transport Division and AHDOC project work as required. This role will work with the Senior Systems Manager and Group IT to ensure that all systems both Divisional and Group are working as expected and bring best value to the business and stakeholders are effectively engaged.
Key Duties and Responsibilities
- Operational Support & Continuous Improvement: Oversee the functionality, support and reliability of all Divisional digital tools and systems. Provide support to all Divisional staff for third party systems and collaborating with Group IT provide support for all central IT systems. Maintain system documentation, licenses, and configurations, and manage vendor support. Ensure compliance with IT security standards and regulatory requirements. Identify and implement process automation and system optimisations to enhance operational efficiency. Work closely with Finance, Operations, Compliance, and Digital Transformation teams to prioritise and execute system improvements. Build and maintain strong relationships with internal stakeholders and external vendors. Coordinate with third party vendors, manage SLAs and support.
- Project Management & On-Time Delivery: Ensure strong project management for system implementations, upgrades, and enhancements. Proactively identify and mitigate risks to ensure projects are delivered on time, within scope, and on budget. Implement best practices in project governance, ensuring transparency, accountability, and clear reporting.

- Knowledge of Oracle NetSuite.
- Experience in a matrix organisation with a variety of stakeholders across different seniority levels and functions.
- Strong background in systems management and administration.
- Experience of managing systems in multi-site locations.
- Experience in systems selection, implementation and change management.
- Knowledge of IT security, compliance, and governance.
