In this vital role you’ll be the trusted source of HSEQ expertise, providing hands-on support and strategic guidance to project teams. You’ll be the key point of contact for all HSEQ matters at your assigned sites, working closely with both JFR and our clients to uphold the highest standards and foster a culture of continuous improvement.
This is a hybrid role, offering flexibility with the expectation of regular office presence at one of our key locations, preferably Bamber Bridge, to allow for strong collaboration and team spirit.
Role Accountabilities
- Provide expert HSEQ advice and support to projects, departments, worksites, and subcontractors to ensure compliance with client, legal, and JFR internal standards and procedures
- Develop, implement, and maintain key HSEQ documentation, Risk Assessments, HSEQ planning and Emergency Response arrangements
- Monitor and manage HSEQ observations, incidents and non-conformances using the Group HSEQ Reporting Platform
- Prepare and deliver regular HSEQ performance reports for clients (e.g., weekly/monthly updates)
- Conduct supplier and subcontractor evaluations, including audits and inspections, to ensure HSEQ standards are met
- Perform routine site inspections and audits, producing detailed reports and tracking the close-out of findings
- Lead HSEQ meetings and maintain accurate action logs to support continual improvement
- Collaborate with internal teams to deliver HSEQ training and awareness sessions and support the ongoing development of JFR HSEQ systems
Knowledge, Experience and Qualifications
- HSEQ-related qualification (e.g. NEBOSH or NVQ Certificate/Diploma)
- Auditor qualification (Lead Auditor desirable) and audit experience
- Incident investigation qualification and investigation experience
- Experience in offshore renewables/high-voltage experience (advantageous)
- Strong knowledge of UK/EU HSE legislation, regulations and industry best practices
- Adaptable and resilient in dynamic, operations-focused environments

- Proven ability to work collaboratively within multidisciplinary project teams
- GWO Safety Training and Offshore Medical (or willingness to obtain)
