James Fisher Renewables is seeking a dynamic and experienced HSEQ Manager to lead the strategic and operational delivery of Health, Safety, Environment, and Quality across our global offshore wind operations and broader Energy Division footprint. This is a pivotal role in our senior operations team, offering the opportunity to influence scalable HSEQ processes as we embark on ambitious growth in the offshore wind sector over the next five years.
Principle Accountabilities
- Drive a proactive safety culture and continuous improvement across all offshore wind sites and energy operations.
- Lead and mentor a small HSEQ team, with scope to grow as the offshore wind business expands.
- Oversee audits, certifications (ISO 9001, 14001, 45001), and incident investigations across renewable energy projects.
- Act as a trusted advisor to offshore wind operations and a credible interface with renewable energy clients.
- Support UK and international offshore wind operations, including offshore travel.
- Lead the integration of HSEQ into daily offshore wind operations and help shape our Integrated Management System (IMS).
Qualifications and Experience
- Proven HSEQ leadership in offshore wind, oil & gas, utilities, or infrastructure.
- NEBOSH Diploma (or equivalent), IOSH membership, and GWO certification.
- Strong stakeholder management and strategic thinking within the renewable energy sector.
- Experience with high voltage safety and operational offshore wind site environments.
- Ideally based near Preston/Bamber Bridge, but flexible remote working.
- Travel: UK offshore wind site visits and occasional international travel (e.g., Taiwan).
- Offshore certification required for offshore wind site access.
