The Role:
As a Quality Lead, you will play a pivotal role in ensuring Quality Assurance Standards within the company whilst promoting a positive Quality culture. You will be instrumental in implementing, maintaining and continually improving an effective Quality Management System inclusive of Quality Policies and Procedures whilst ensuring compliance with respective ISO Management System Standards such as ISO 9001. You will be responsible for overseeing and managing all quality assurance/control and content improvement activities within your designated area. This role exists to ensure the effective implementation of quality policies and procedures, compliance with relevant regulations, and the promotion of high-quality content. The Quality Lead will play a key role in developing and implementing quality control strategies, managing resources, and leading a team of quality assurance/control professionals.
Key Duties & Responsibilities:
- Administer Quality Operational Systems:
- Assist with the implementation of Energy Services Quality Management System.
- Maintain, Support and Continually Improve Quality Management Systems in accordance with ISO 9001.
- Drive implementation of Quality Strategy and objectives to achieve intended outcomes.
- Review, write, implement and maintain QMS Documented processes, procedures and policies.
- Review and maintain the Management of Change Process.
- Control and maintain documented records and provide support.
- Assist in the coordination and investigation of corrective/preventive actions and product/process non-conformances.
- Implement and Deliver workforce training, communications and group initiatives.
- Assist with competence assessments as applicable.
- Implement and Administer Quality Internal/External Audit Schedule.
- Conduct and document Audits, Inspections and follow up actions as applicable.
- Assist and participate in investigating Quality Incidents and share learnings.
- Coordinate corrective and preventive actions ensuring root cause is established.
- Implement Quality support activities and initiatives as requested.
- Support the evaluation and re-evaluation of suppliers and contractors ensuring assessments are completed.
Who are we looking for?
You will be a self-starter as the Quality Lead role requires a proactive individual who can take initiative and work independently with minimal supervision. You will need the ability to identify and address Quality issues before they escalate as this is crucial. Attention to detail and thoroughness in all aspects of the job are essential and you will be diligent in coordinating quality, managing data, and ensuring compliance with all Quality processes. Be personally energetic, dynamic, positive, and enthusiastic and possess the ability to think laterally and act through reasoned decision making.
Qualifications & Experience:
- ISO 9001 Lead Auditor Training.
- Recognized qualification in Quality Management.
- Training and/or Experience in FMEA (Failure Modes and Effects Analysis) and risk-based thinking.
- Demonstrable knowledge and experience of implementing and managing Quality Management Systems.
- Able to demonstrate Quality Assurance experience in a complex international environment.
- Internal Auditing experience with high level reporting.
- Excellent IT skills using MS Office products.
- Ability to communicate Quality Management and best practices at all levels nationally and internationally.
Ideally you will also have the following as it would be a distinct advantage:
- Proficiency in use of MS365 applications, including MS SharePoint & MS Teams.
- Data visualization and reporting tools (Power BI, advanced Excel).
- Six Sigma Green Belt or Lean certification (process improvement focus).
- API Q1/Q2 experience.
- CQI Membership and Continued Professional Development compliance.
- Exposure to project management methodologies.
- Experience with ISO 14001/45001 for integrated systems.
