The Delivery Coordinator is responsible for managing and overseeing the scheduling, tracking, and coordination of product deliveries to ensure timely and accurate fulfilment. This role serves as the primary point of contact between the sales team, customers, and delivery partners, ensuring a smooth and efficient delivery process.
Key Duties and Responsibilities:
- Coordinate and schedule delivery operations in alignment with customer orders and business needs.
- Utilise Purchase Orders for logistics, products and service-based operations.
- Using nominated 3rd party travel management company, organise travel for technicians as required.
- Communicate with internal departments (warehouse, sales, procurement) to confirm product availability and delivery timelines.
- Manage certification for products as required.
- Monitor delivery progress and proactively address any delays or issues.
- Track shipments and update delivery status in the system.
- Maintain accurate delivery documentation, including invoices, delivery notes, and proof of delivery.
- Resolve delivery-related inquiries and complaints professionally and efficiently.
- Ensure compliance with transportation and safety regulations.
- Collaborate with third-party carriers or drivers to ensure proper execution of deliveries.
- Generate daily, weekly, and monthly reports on delivery performance metrics.
- Continuously seek ways to improve delivery processes and customer satisfaction.
