Workshop Electrician – James Fisher and Sons plc

Location: Great Yarmouth, England, United Kingdom

Employment: Permanent / Full‑time

The Workshop/Base Electrician is responsible for installing, maintaining, and inspecting electrical systems to ensure compliance with safety standards and regulations. The role involves working with various electrical equipment and systems, conducting risk assessments, and ensuring the safe operation of electrical installations. You will work closely with the engineering and maintenance teams to maintain the highest standards of safety and performance.

Key Duties & Responsibilities

  • Install, maintain, and inspect electrical systems to ensure compliance with safety standards and regulations.
  • Conduct risk assessments and ensure the safe operation of electrical installations.
  • Collaborate with engineering and maintenance teams to ensure the highest standards of safety and performance.
  • Monitor and report on the condition of electrical systems and equipment.
  • Provide technical support and guidance to other team members.

Qualifications & Experience

  • Competent in all aspects of Microsoft Office, with a high level of computer literacy.
  • Strong knowledge of electrical systems and safety standards.
  • Experience in electrical installations and maintenance.
  • Experience with CRM and business management software.
