As an Engineering Team Lead, you’ll be at the forefront of shaping cutting-edge design solutions across our dynamic product portfolio. From concept development to end-of-life, you’ll drive the entire engineering lifecycle, ensuring every solution is robust, innovative, and impactful. What You’ll Be Doing
- Lead and Inspire: Manage and mentor an engineering team, driving performance, development, and resource planning while ensuring compliance with internal and external standards.
- Technical Authority: Provide leadership and design input across the full engineering lifecycle, owning technical approvals and ensuring safe, compliant solutions.
- Deliver Excellence: Oversee engineering scope, budgets, schedules, and reporting, including resource planning, performance tracking, and corrective actions.
- Collaborate Across Functions: Partner with sales, supply chain, production, HSEQS, and bids teams to deliver accurate technical specifications and solutions.
- Champion Safety & Compliance: Manage system safety reviews, risk registers, and mitigation plans, ensuring adherence to safety policies and regulatory requirements.
- Drive Innovation & Best Practice: Work with product line leaders on roadmaps, share resources with peers, and continuously improve processes and capabilities.
What We’re Looking For
- Degree-qualified in Electrical/Electronic Engineering or equivalent industry experience; chartered status desirable.
- Strong expertise in electrical design, including HV/LV systems, control systems using PLCs, and analogue/digital circuit design.
- Proven experience with Product Lifecycle Management (PLM) tools for engineering documentation and compliance.
- In-depth knowledge of IEC 61508 for safety-critical programmable systems.
- Extensive experience in Saturation Diving System design, including life support, power, communications, and decompression systems.
- Thorough understanding of industry codes and standards (Lloyds, DNV, ABS, IMCA, UK & International wiring standards).
