Supplier Contract Specialist
Full‑time, permanent position based in Westhill or Inchinnan with hybrid working available. This role requires security checks.
The Role
As a Supplier Contract Specialist, you will be instrumental in building, protecting, and enhancing supplier relationships from end to end. This role goes beyond traditional contract management, offering a strategic platform to shape commercial outcomes, ensure regulatory and policy compliance, and reduce risk across the organisation. You’ll take ownership of drafting, negotiating, and managing supplier contracts throughout their lifecycle, working in close partnership with legal, commercial, procurement, and operational teams to strengthen governance, embed best practice, and deliver real value. If you enjoy collaborating with diverse stakeholders, applying commercial judgement, and making a measurable impact, this role provides a great opportunity to do so. The position can be based in either Inchinnan or Westhill, with hybrid working available. Occasional UK and international travel may be required.
What You’ll Be Doing
- Draft, review, and negotiate supplier contracts, including terms, SLAs, and pricing.
- Manage contracts end to end, covering renewals, amendments, and terminations.
- Ensure compliance with internal policies, legal standards, and regulations.
- Maintain accurate contract records and documentation.
- Partner with procurement, commercial, legal, and operational teams to align contracts with business goals.
- Develop commodity strategies to inform sourcing, supplier selection, and long-term supply chain efficiency.
- Monitor supplier performance and contractual compliance.
- Resolve contractual issues and support corrective actions.
- Support contract-related audits and reporting.
- Provide guidance and training on contract management best practice.
What we’re looking for
- Demonstrated experience drafting, negotiating, and managing contracts.
- Solid experience and understanding of ITT.
- Solid understanding of procurement practices and supplier governance.
- Good working knowledge of legal terminology and regulatory compliance.
- Strong communication skills with the ability to engage and influence stakeholders.
- High attention to detail with excellent organisational skills.
- Confident user of contract management systems and Microsoft Office.
- Able to work autonomously while managing multiple priorities effectively.
- Degree in Business, Law, Supply Chain Management, or a related discipline preferred.
- CIPS qualification desirable but not essential.
