The Role

The function of the role is to support project delivery in a safe, efficient, and effective manner whilst helping drive James Fisher Offshore (JFO) business objectives. To achieve this objective for JFO’s growing project workload, the project coordinator will establish and maintain an integrated and efficient function for all CFE and Decom activities, between project, operations and finance departments as required by the Project Manager.

Key Accountabilities

  • Ensure Compliance with Policies and Procedures: Support the project team in adhering to the company's Health, Safety, Environmental Assurance, Quality, Security, and Sustainability policies and procedures.
  • Coordinate HSE Requirements: Assist in meeting all Health, Safety, and Environmental requirements, including the preparation of HAZID, HAZOP, and HIRA processes.
  • Project Planning and Budgeting: Support the review of the "as sold" Cost, Time & Resource model, and assist in preparing the project control budget and baseline project schedule for approval.
  • Project Execution and Reporting: Ensure compliance with the Product Line Integrated Management System, regularly update the Project Status Report (PSR), and support the review of project costs and value of work done.
  • Financial Management: Assist with invoicing, procurement, raising project-approved purchase orders, and updating the PSR to reflect raised POs and invoice registers.
  • Risk and Opportunity Management: Contribute to the reviews of the project risk and opportunities register and support the project team in compiling variation orders prior to client submission.
  • Resource and Relationship Management: Ensure technician and equipment requirements are forecasted for asset and resource planning, and develop and maintain working relationships with internal service functions.
  • Project Closure and Documentation: Support the timely closure of the project, including reconciliation of all POs, issuance of the final PSR, and completion and updating of documents as requested by Project Engineers and Managers.

Skills, Experience And Qualifications

  • Previous project support experience in projects, operations and or finance would be ideal.
  • Proficient IT skills with MS Office Apps and ERP systems.
