Location: Dubai, UAE
The Project Coordinator shall report into the Commercial Manager, but will have indirect reporting and daily links to the Operations Manager and Site Engineer, acting as an intermediate between operations and the Commercial Manager. The function of the role is to support the operations team in providing necessary information and supporting documents to the commercial team. The role involves regular interaction between site operations and the commercial team, to ensure invoices, claims and variations are submitted on time and accurately.
Key Duties and Responsibilities
- Ensure Compliance with Policies and Procedures: Support the project team in adhering to the company's Health, Safety, Environmental Assurance, Quality, Security and Sustainability policies and procedures.
- Project Execution and Reporting: Understand the workflow for our services and collect essential information (site diary, delivery note, report submission) from the site team daily, to pass to the commercial team.
- Financial Management: Complete internal matrix of required documents in order to submit claims and invoices on time.
- Project Closure and Documentation: Support the timely closure of the project, including reconciliation of all POs, issuance of the final PSR, and completion and updating of documents as requested by Project Engineers and Managers.
Key Skills, Knowledge and Experience
- Bachelor’s degree in engineering, construction or project management.
- Proficiency in Microsoft office suites including Excel (formulas, pivot tables, charts).
- Prior experience in project coordination, project administration or construction would be an advantage.
