About the Role
The role will have responsibility for onsite repairs, testing and calibration services at JFD Portsmouth and be part of the JFD Portsmouth diving support team.
What you’ll be doing
- Carry out diving equipment maintenance tasks as directed and also provide training when required.
Principal accountabilities
- To carry out repair, recalibration and testing in compliance with work order instructions and in accordance with requisite quality system standards.
- Conduct and record service and repair work on MoD contracts as required.
- Conduct JFD product and service training as directed in the UK and deployed globally.
- Ensure compliance with all company Health, Safety and Quality Assurance policies, processes and procedures to ensure that people and equipment are kept safe.
What we’re looking for
- You will need good communication skills and a “Can do” approach.
- Proficient with IT.
- Individual Security Clearance is required to represent JFD at certain sites where training/demonstrations may be required to take place.
- The role’s primary location is Portsmouth; however, deployed activity may be required at certain times therefore, a flexible approach to working is required.
