The Role

Join us as a key leader in shaping the future of Health, Safety, Environment, and Quality HSEQ across our global Energy Services. You’ll lead the global HSEQ agenda, ensuring consistency and continuous improvement across locations. Through strong leadership and collaboration, you’ll enhance employee engagement, elevate reporting standards, and reduce incidents — making a difference to our people and our performance.

Principle Accountabilities

  • Develop and deliver the HSEQ strategy in alignment with divisional and group objectives
  • Lead and manage regional HSE Advisors, ensuring consistent global application of policies and procedures
  • Monitor, analyse, and report HSEQ performance, trends, and KPIs to senior leadership
  • Ensure compliance with legislation, industry standards, and client-specific requirements
  • Drive continuous improvement and foster a proactive, safety-first culture across all operations
  • Embed HSEQ into daily business practices and support integration of management system
  • Oversee incident investigations, ensuring thorough root cause analysis and timely reporting
  • Support environmental and sustainability initiatives, including health surveillance programmes
  • Provide expert guidance to operational teams, including audits, risk assessments, and project mobilisation
  • Represent Energy Services in internal and external HSEQ forums, audits, and vendor approvals

Qualifications And Experience

  • Experience in a senior HSEQ leadership position, ideally within the energy, marine or industrial services sector
  • Proven ability to lead and inspire teams, while confidentially influencing senior stakeholders and driving alignment across multi-site operations
  • HSEQ-related qualification (e.g. NEBOSH or NVQ Certificate/Diploma)
  • Strong knowledge of UK/EU HSE legislation, regulations and industry best practices
  • ISO management systems experience
  • Internal auditor qualification and audit experience
  • Incident investigation and root cause analysis methodologies experience
  • Adaptable and resilient in dynamic, operations-focused environments
  • Knowledge of offshore and subsea operations
  • Committed to promoting a culture of HSEQ excellence
