The Role
Are you ready to make a strategic impact? We are seeking a dynamic Finance Business Partner to drive financial performance, ensure robust reporting and controls compliance, and contribute to business planning, forecasting, and risk management.
Location & Working Arrangements
Full‑Time, Permanent – Bamber Bridge, Preston (Hybrid).
What You’ll Be Doing
- Ensure timely and accurate financial reporting aligned with the 4‑day close process.
- Provide prompt management reporting to operational stakeholders.
- Recognise revenue in line with completed operational activities.
- Deliver mid‑month flash reports, risks & opportunities analysis, and project margin insights.
- Lead forecasting and budgeting for Well Testing and Bubble Curtain service lines.
- Support tender processes through cost input and financial model reviews.
- Collaborate with operations, sales, project controls and supply chain to enhance efficiency and identify improvements.
- Monitor key performance indicators (e.g., project margin, utilisation) to drive profitability.
- Train and support team members to ensure effective performance.
- Contribute to ERP system (IFS) improvements and efficiency initiatives.
Essential
- Proven experience in a fast‑paced finance environment.
- Qualified or part‑qualified accountant.
- Strong cross‑functional collaboration skills beyond finance.
- Proficient in MS Office with excellent administrative capabilities.
- Ability to meet tight deadlines.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills.
