The Role
A multi-disciplined CFE Team Leader – duties include assembly, test, operate, service, supervise and maintain JFO and third‑party equipment offshore.
Principal Accountabilities
- When working on company scopes of work, direct and lead a team of technicians on the job scope, ensuring all company policies and procedures are followed.
- Actively participate in pre‑ and post‑job briefings and ensure that appropriate knowledge transfer takes place.
- Become familiar with JFO and third‑party equipment, following appropriate procedures during assembly, testing, operations, servicing and maintenance of this equipment.
- Ensure all work is carried out in accordance with JFO’s policies and guidelines.
- Be responsible for own safety and the safety of others within the workplace by working in a safe, tidy and efficient manner.
- Carry out various other general duties as directed and represent the company in a professional manner.
- Assist with training on CFE‑related tooling, sonar and auxiliary equipment when required on and offshore.
- Assist the JFO dedicated project teams on project planning as required.
- Lead remote maintenance campaigns whilst adhering to JFO procedures, policies and documentation.
- Represent the company in a professional manner.
Qualifications and Experience
- Experience with Gemini Sonar.
- Time‑served mechanical/hydraulic role with a qualification in mechanical engineering or similar.
- Previous experience in an offshore environment.
- Good knowledge of mechanically operated tools and diesel engines.
- Understanding of hydraulic/pneumatic control systems and control components within these systems.
- Strong focus on client satisfaction.
- Good verbal and written communication skills.
Ideally You Will Also Have
- Diesel, hydraulic, CFE experience.
- Knowledge of hydraulic circuits.
- Plant machinery experience.
- Good knowledge of subsea services industry equipment.
- Previous experience supervising teams both on and offshore.
