Permanent position – Oldmeldrum, Aberdeen

Role Description:

Promote James Fisher products and services to existing and potential customers across Europe & Africa. Lead the regional sales and business development team, support sales pipelines, and maximise conversion rates across all product lines.

Key Duties And Responsibilities

  • Set regional sales targets and performance KPIs, driving the team to meet or exceed them.
  • Maintain a conversion rate of bids into contracts of more than 20%.
  • Work with functional leads and group strategy to align Energy Services with commercial requirements.
  • Oversee contract negotiations to secure the best commercial/legal position with customers.
  • Collaborate with the proposals and tendering team to deliver high‑calibre submissions, driving high win rates.
  • Partner with business analysts to evaluate market trends, competitiveness, and growth opportunities.
  • Develop and implement regional sales and key account strategies to increase market share and achieve revenue targets.
  • Manage a team of sales & business development professionals, providing leadership, guidance, and motivation.
  • Monitor sales performance metrics and KPIs, conduct regular performance evaluations, and give feedback to team members.
  • Build and maintain relationships with key accounts, stakeholders and strategic partners.
  • Adhere to the energy division sales & tendering process.
  • Provide accurate sales forecasts and reports to senior management, including Group monthly reports.
  • Engage with marketing and product development to align and drive business objectives and sales initiatives.
  • Stay updated on industry best practices and incorporate them into the regional sales strategy.
  • Represent the company at industry events, conferences and client meetings.
  • Participate in energy services strategy planning and investment committee approval meetings when required.
  • Ensure sales team preparedness and facilitate the monthly regional sales calls.
  • Ensure compliance with company policies and procedures.
