At Art & Science UK, we create visually ambitious storytelling projects that combine history, art, literature, science, and emerging AI-driven filmmaking.
Our production channel, JamesDrakeTV, has recently received several awards in the AI Video and Movie Production sector, and we are expanding our creative development team.
We are looking for a passionate writer and storyteller to join us during the writing and development phase of our growing slate of creative projects. This is a collaborative freelance role for someone who genuinely loves storytelling and wants to grow creatively while working alongside an experienced creative team.
You will work closely with the director and other members of the team during brainstorming sessions, story development meetings, and script workshops in London.
Projects may include:
- Short-form and long-form video scripts
- Loves subjects such as art, history, science, mythology, or literature
- Has strong writing and communication skills
- Wants to learn and grow within a creative production environment
Bonus points if you have:
- Experience with film, YouTube, or documentary formats
- Interest in AI-assisted filmmaking and creative technologies
- Available 2–3 days per week on a freelance basis
- Comfortable working collaboratively with creatives and production teams
