James Cowper Kreston are looking to recruit a number of Semi Senior Accountants to work within their well-established Audit & Assurance teams in the Thames Valley / South Coast area (Reading, Newbury, Oxford or Southampton locations considered). Are you an aspiring audit professional with the desire to achieve your full potential? Due to continued growth we have fantastic opportunities for hardworking Semi Senior Accountants (ACCA / ACA part qualified) with the motivation to continue to develop their career with a forward-thinking, friendly and inclusive firm of accountants and business advisers.
You will have a passion for client service with a keen interest to further your own personal and professional development. You will receive excellent training and study support to conclude your professional qualification. The ideal candidate will be an ACA / ACCA trainee accountant, part way through their studies or even a part qualified / finalist trainee and will have at least 2 years experience within an audit team carrying out audit assignments. You will be well presented, personable and be a team player.
Duties & Responsibilities- You will be responsible for assisting on audit assignments and receive comprehensive training to allow you to progress to running complete audit assignments from planning to completion.
- You will work with a variety of clients in a variety of sectors and gain a broad depth of business understanding.
- Preparation of statutory accounts and corporation tax returns.
- Supervising juniors from time to time.
- ACA / ACCA Part Qualified Trainee.
- Good experience of assisting on audit assignments is essential.
- Experience with a wide range of software packages, including Caseware, would be an advantage.
