James Clay are a business that wants to improve the quality of beer in the UK. We are on a mission to deliver 30 million quality beer experiences by 2030. This means we need our beer selection available in pubs, off licenses and retailers so they can be picked up and enjoyed at home or on a night out.
James Clay are creating a new operations project manager role for somebody to join the team with a positive attitude and bags of attention to detail. This new role will help us to improve systems and processes throughout the business. All with the aim of achieving the James Clay mission this person will report directly to the operations director and have a monthly slot in the board meeting.
OUR OPPORTUNITY
This role will be great for somebody who is data focused, great on systems and has a personality that can influence colleagues internally. This person will lead projects throughout the warehouse and logistics set up to enable us to be more efficient.
ESSENTIAL PROJECTS AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Hub & spoke logistics – which customers are delivered from which DC
- Support implementation of warehouse management system
- Support e-commerce system/process development

THE PERSON
- Demonstrate strong analytical skills.
- Strong IT/systems use, with very good Excel skills.
